Karen Asprea is an interior designer known for her luxury residences, with offices in New York’s posh Tribeca neighborhood and also in historic Coral Gables, Miami.
Over her 18-year career, Karen has focused on creating curated, luxury design for residential developments, commercial spaces and private homes. Her resume encompasses over 7 million square feet of new residential construction and over 500,000 square feet of commercial build-out. Karen has designed for some of the industry’s leading real estate developers such as LCOR, BAM Development, Gemini Rosemont, The Carlyle Group, Somerset Properties, and Solow Building Company. She has designed alongside noted architects such as BBB, SOM, and ODA to create stunning residences, lobbies, and amenity spaces.
Karen Asprea’s studio was founded in 2017 and provides a multidisciplinary approach to interior design, with a focus on private residential estates and luxury residential developments. Karen and her team deliver a streamlined approach to design with a deep understanding of the development and construction process at a large scale.
Laying a strong career foundation working for Costas Kondylis and Kondylis Design, Karen learned the intricacies of the industry early in her career. She later joined one of the largest architecture firms in New York and created an interior design department, becoming one of the youngest and only female managing partners at her previous firm.
