When you partner with CI, you get one unified team of specialized experts to be your advocate, guiding every step of the way to simplify a daunting process. Centaur's design team begins with a genuine understanding of your lifestyle, personality, aesthetic and goals. They tailor every stage of the project around your schedule and budget. CI lets you be as hands-on or as hands-off as you want, giving you access to every bit of information through our client portal. And when it’s time to turn over the keys, they provide a comprehensive closeout and maintenance manual so you know just how to use and care for every feature. Centaur's process isn’t complete until you’re fully satisfied and seamlessly settled into your new home.

Daniel, Senior Designer: The conference table in our showroom is a unique one! The movement of the polished marble top is stunning, and I love how it appears as one large piece when it’s actually four pieces that have been joined as quarters. I appreciate that the wooden lazy Susan has the same design with quartered seams to play off the discreet seams in the marble. In addition to the beautiful design, the custom height allows our team to work at the table comfortably either while standing or seated. This feature is especially useful during client meetings when presenting material finishes and fabrics as is the lazy Susan! One of our clients loved this table so much that it was translated into a custom dining height table for their home.

Kelly, Senior Designer: The custom bed with integrated nightstands and a channeled headboard is my top pick! The materials are timeless and inviting; the walnut paired with the velvet upholstery adds so much warmth to the design. While the headboard and bed frame have low, modern profiles, I love how it complements the classic channel tufting which could lean transitional in the right setting. Attention to detail was not missed here – even the mitered joints of the floating nightstands mimic the joints of the floating bed frame.

Michael, Principal: My favorite custom millwork installation is the modern fireplace "flue." The functionality is top notch in that it provides a discreet storage cabinet on the dining room side. At the same time, it also acts as a media cabinet, housing a TV and a soundbar on the living room side. I love that the top is open which has a lighter, floating feel than if it were to be a solid volume, and as an added plus it provides a surface for decorative accessories. This installation is a success in functionality, sophisticated design, and a clever way to define two different spaces.
