Campbell’s Soup Heiress Lists Newport Cottage

According to Curbed, Dorrance “Dodo” Hamilton, heiress to the fortune of the iconic Campbell’s soup company, has listed her 8,200-square-foot oceanfront Newport cottage. Hamilton, a philanthropist and mother of three, has listed the home on Rhode Island for $15,750,000.

The 7 bedroom, 6 bathroom Ocean Avenue summer home, which sits on 2.5-acres,was designed in 1901 by architect Irving Gill. The grounds were landscaped by the famed Olmsted brothers (who designed New York’s Central Park), with recent updates visible including an infinity pool, a private dock, a guest house and a greenhouse.
