Busy Week for ‘Housewives’ on the Real Estate Market

It seems to be a trend this week for 'Housewives' to have a property on the California market. Both current 'Housewife' Vicki Gunvalson and ex-'housewife' Jeana Keough have listed their Coto de Caza homes for sale.

O.C. 'Housewife' and insurance businesswoman Vicki Gunvalson just cut the price tag on her home by $300,000, lowering her current asking price to $2,395,000.

Gunvalson is offering a 5,400-square foot, 5-bedroom, 5.25-bath home. The property sits on an acre of land in the gated community with an excellent view of the hills. Additional amenities include high ceilings, new hardwood floors, an oversized master bedroom balcony, a resort-style palm tree studded pool with a rock slide and 5-seat swim-up bar, fire pit, outdoor kitchen with a built-in barbecue, and a grotto with a TV and bath.

Keough's home is significantly bigger, however. At 10,600 square feet, the Avena house sits on a golf course and 3.88 acres of land surrounded by a panoramic mountain view and lagoon.

Additional amenities include a children's wing with play room, room for movie room or gym, rock pool with slide and waterfalls, beach entry and spa.

Keough's property is in short sale, meaning it is being offered for less than what is owed on the loan, but the asking price has increased $200,000 in the past few months, putting it on the market for $2,800,000.

Gunvalson's home was built in 1995 and is turn-key, while the Keough property is a bit older, built in 1992, and according to Weichert Realtors Gold Coast, needs some updating.

We're interested in seeing which home goes first!
