As a seasoned star of blockbusters like “Creed” and the “Black Panther” movies, it’s no surprise Michael B. Jordan has a taste for luxury and a small collection of lavish estates to show for it. In May 2022, Jordan picked up a snazzy modern farmhouse-style mansion, fit for a king, in Los Angeles for around $12.5M, but less than a year later, the actor and mogul is looking to sell his premier property in Encino’s affluent Royal Oaks neighborhood, the listing held by Andrew Mortaza and Bryan Castaneda of The Agency.

The spacious residence, built in 2021, underwent some practical upgrades during Jordan’s time there, with about $500,000 dedicated to security and air-conditioning improvements. And with 12,300 square feet and three levels of classic, contemporary living space boasting plenty of amenities, it’s almost confounding that Jordan is unloading the gem. Andrew Mortaza said he doesn’t know why the actor is selling.

The luxury home sits nestled on a half acre, with its black paneling and warm glass exterior providing a stunning contrast to the property’s vibrant lawn and crisp pool. However, the 20-foot-tall pivoting front door has to be the star of the show as far as the exterior is concerned, offering a regal welcome to visitors and residents.

Past the gated entrance and through the centerpiece front door, a host of amenities lie amongst the residence’s equally sleek and serene interior–with motifs of wood paneling, warm lighting, and a neutral pallet that bring depth to the already spacious layout. Thoughtful nooks like a gym/spa, cozy movie theater, temperature-controlled wine room, and wet bar further elevate the space with endless possibilities for leisure.

The master bedroom, one of eight others, is nothing short of an oasis with a fireplace and dual walk-in closets and baths. A private balcony offers peaceful views of the outdoor landscape, which includes a pool and spa, fire-pit area, barbecue and bar setup, cabana complete with a fireplace, two-story guest house, sizeable motorcourt, and attached two-car garage.

In addition to flipping the Royal Oaks farmhouse, Jordan also keeps a $1.7M home in Sherman Oaks he acquired in 2015. The California native also recently sold his $7M Hollywood Hills bachelor pad, formerly owned by TV host Daisy Fuentes.
