HR:What gives a home presence—something you can’t put on a spec sheet?

Christine: It’s the way a home makes you feel the moment you step inside. Presence comes from proportion, light, and intention. It reveals itself in how spaces flow, how light moves throughout the day, and whether the home feels lived with, not just lived in. The best homes have a quiet confidence, offering a sense of calm and belonging that’s felt before it’s ever articulated. That presence is often what stays with you long after you’ve left.

HR: What’s the most memorable reaction you’ve seen someone have walking into a space?

Christine:
Silence. When one of my clients stopped mid-step, exhaled, and just looked around without saying a word, that’s the moment I knew the home had spoken for itself. There was no need to discuss finishes or square footage. The pause itself was the reaction. Those moments tend to signal not just appreciation, but recognition.

HR: Do you believe homes carry energy? Why or why not?

Christine: Absolutely. Homes absorb stories, routines, and emotion over time. You can sense when a space has been cared for, celebrated in, or thoughtfully designed. Energy isn’t mystical—it’s the residue of intention. It shows up in how a home feels when you enter it, whether it feels grounded, open, or at ease. That presence is shaped by how people have lived in the space and how deliberately it has been treated, and it often speaks louder than any material detail.

HR: A detail you think instantly elevates a residence?

Christine:
Natural light paired with restraint. Whether it’s well-placed windows or a perfectly edited interior, homes feel elevated when nothing is trying too hard. Restraint allows architectural details and materials to speak for themselves. When a home feels balanced rather than busy, it naturally reads as refined.

HR: The kind of buyer you secretly love working with?

Christine: The buyer who values feeling over features—someone who’s not just looking for a house, but a place that reflects who they are and how they want to live. They’re thoughtful, intuitive, and willing to trust their response to a space. I especially enjoy working with discerning buyers who understand that luxury is emotional as much as it is material. They’re seeking resonance, not just amenities, and that makes the process far more meaningful.
