In an unprecedented collaboration with Poltrona Frau—an Italian firm that touts high-end, handcrafted leather seating and beds—famed fashion designer Alexander Wang has released a limited edition set of luxury lounge furnishings.
“When Poltrona Frau approached me, I was so excited because they’re such a leader in the industry, so renowned for the product and the quality and the prestige. So I said yes of course immediately,” Wang told Style.com.
Comprised of three matte black pieces, the capsule collection features two different beanbag styles (one in stitched leather, the other shearling), each buoyed by a minimalist brass frame, along with a trunk bar/drinks cabinet accented with linear gold detail.
The beanbag seats will reportedly retail for $8,800 apiece, while the gilded trunk will go for $18,500.
