Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Beach Golf Club’s New Clubhouse

The plans for Abu Dhabi‘s 59,055-square-foot Saadiyat Beach Golf Club are going to be unveiled this week. This stunning addition to the golf club originally designed by 80-year-old Frank Gehry is now being designed by one of the greatest golfers of all time, Gary Player, who kept in mind the Estidama regulations for sustainable for development when designing this monstrous clubhouse. It will be completely finished by 2013, and will feature a boutique hotel with 26 deluxe rooms, two restaurants, a spa, and a pro-shop. This will surely give the island just one more luxurious monument to boast about, apart from nine 5-star hotels along the beach and one-third of the golf course looking over white sands and waters of the gulf.
