Ryan Phillippe Relists Hollywood Hills Home Dubbed ‘Rising Zen’

Actor Ryan Phillippe is taking another swing at selling the home dubbed “Rising Zen.”

The amalgam of Asian and modern architecture was purchased by Phillippe back in 2008 after his divorce from Reese Witherspoon. He initially tried to list the property in 2010 for $7.45 million. It’s located in Hollywood Hills.

The home was pulled off the market last year with no buyers, and is back on the block with an asking price of $6.99 million.

The 14 year-old 5-bedroom, 6.5-bath home features a two-story gym off the master suite, a media room and a bar accented by an aquarium. Outside, the home features an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and a pool with underwater speakers.

Phillippe’s property is tailor made for the Hollywood set. Secluded by high fences and a robust security system, the home is well fortified against photographers–a layout that the realtor calls “stoparazzi.”
