Inside Robert Stilin’s Hamptons Dream House

New York based designer Robert Stilin designed the interiors of a $200 million, 29-bedroom Italianate compound in Sagaponack, New York. He maintained the casual beach-esque elegance the estate naturally exuded.

His penchant for knowing the interiors of Hampton interiors is why the designer was featured in Elle Decor for his work on a family’s weekend retreat in Eastern Long Island. Some of the accents Stilin used include: a custom-made sofa upholstered in an Elizabeth Dow linen, a cocktail table from HB Home, 1940s sconces in the family room, a Borge Mogensen–style wing chair is upholstered in a linen by Calvin Fabrics, a vintage bar cart serves as a side table, a Merida Meridian rug, and  Lindsey Adelman light fixtures.
