Rose@Wynwood, located on NW 5th Avenue, will be a catalyst in the transformation of the Wynwood Norte district and was custom designed to suit the local context. The maximum permitted volume was strategically carved out to respond to the scale of the neighbourhood. The resulting form allows light and air into the flats and subtly references the ‘W’ shape representing the Wynwood neighbourhood. The interaction of the commercial base, green roofs, two types of facades and the incorporation of street art creates a clear statement and a mix between European architecture and the Miami context. Besides the architecture, elaborated in collaboration with our local partner Charles H. Benson & Associates Architects, BINST ARCHITECTS was also commissioned to design the interiors of the lobby, communal areas and amenities. We continue to build on this international project with coherent vision ranging from urban planning to architecture and interior design!
