The late Bob Hope and wife Dolores lived in this period-revival traditional English residence for many years, originally building the home in 1939. Realtor.com reports that John Elgin Woolf remodeled it in a more modern design in the 1950s, but the home maintains much of its original charm.
The home features 5.16 acres, 14,875 square feet, a two-bedroom guesthouse, staff quarters, offices, grand foyer, billiards room, four bedroom suites with roomy master suite, golf course, patios, motor court, two pools and finely manicured grounds.
Hope lived in the home until his passing in 2003.
