Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Want $3.45 Million for Laurel Canyon Digs

Fashion designer Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte lead singer Joel Madden have put their Laurel Canyon home on the market for $3.495 million—nearly double the $1.912 million they originally paid for the home back in 2009.

Poised in a secluded, gated compounded, the 6,300-square-foot home showcases high ceilings and several skylights, allowing for plenty of natural light to flood its oversized spaces, which include an office and numerous storage areas. Unsurprisingly, the abode’s master suite boasts a “cavernous” walk-in closet (we expect no less from Miss Richie).

A verdant backyard with a lagoon pool and spa (blessed with a waterfall) rest outside the family-friendly home, which also features built-in seating and a kiddie play area (specially tricked out for the couple’s two children, Harlow and Sparrow), on top of a modernized kitchen that leads out to a barbecue station.
