Funny man David Spade finally sold his gorgeous Malibu beach house, parting ways with the property in favor of new adventures. Spade purchased the home in 2005 for a reasonable $9.3M, originally putting it on the market in 2007 for…gasp! $16,000,000! Are we kidding?
Spade did put a ton of work into the home, but almost doubling the purchase price seems a little much. He relisted the property again in 2011 for $13.5M, eventually closing for $11.6M. Still, nothing to sneeze at.
The home features hardwood flooring and numerous fireplaces, a pool and spa, custom statement spiral staircase, art studio, gym and two-car garage.
