The former Beverly Hills home of actor, film producer and author Kirk Douglas has been listed for $17 million. The property includes five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and numerous high-tech features.

Located in the flats of Beverly Hills, the 7,000-square-foot residence was built in 1927 but has undergone significant renovations. The home includes five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and numerous custom features throughout, such as high performing glass walls with custom metal frames, lighting, cabinets, flooring and a custom chef’s kitchen. There is also a state-of-the-art solar system for the house and pool, electric skylights and additional high-tech features, according to the listing. There is a championship tennis court, a gym, full guesthouse, a fountain, covered patios and rose gardens.

The home sits on one acre of land close to all of the most popular spots in Beverly Hills, but far enough to have complete privacy and security.

Douglas lived in the home during the 1940s. Hilton Hyland has the listing.
