The best place to enjoy food and drinks in Plano is the Shops at Legacy. On both the north and south sides of Legacy, just east of the Dallas North Tollway, the Shops at Legacy features many fantastic dining options, from the inexpensive patio at Mama Pita’s to the patio at Jasper’s, where you can enjoy the restaurant’s national award-winning ribs and designer cocktails. You can also enjoy cocktails under the stars at Sambuca, Mi Cocina, Nicola’s, and many others. The Shops at Legacy will soon have a residential expansion on the other side of the Tollway with a luxury hotel that will include residences. And just south of there the development of two high-rise luxury condominiums is underway. This area is a great example of how mixed-use developments can be successfully done in the suburbs.
