Due to fire codes, wooden houses are extremely rare in Manhattan. But one of these beauties on the Upper East Side has just hit the market for $10.5 million.

Located at 128 East 93rd Street, the 25-foot wide house boasts four-bedrooms, five bathrooms, an elevator, a wood-paneled library, a butler’s pantry, a whirlpool bathtub, a finished basement and a wine cellar. The home was originally built as a three-story structure in 1866, but has been extensively renovated to include wide plank floors, wood fretwork, turned balusters and crown moldings.

Former television producer C.C. Dyer purchased the 4,370-square-foot property for $6.6 million in 2000 after her daughters fell in love with the treehouse in the 48-foot deep backyard.
