Monaco Claims Title as Priciest Real Estate Region

While many believe San Francisco, Manhattan and London are the most expensive places to live, none compare to the splendors of Monaco.

Real Estate in Monaco has climbed to a staggering $5,408 per square foot value. In comparison, the second-most expensive location is Cap Ferrat in the South of France, with a value of $4,800 per square foot. New York boasts a ranking of 17, with a more reasonable $2,161 per square foot. The only other US-based locations to make the top fifty include Aspen ($974 per square foot), Telluride ($760 per square foot) and Miami ($580 per square foot).
