While East End Builder Joe Farrell waits for a buyer for his $43.5 million “Sandcastle” estate, he has been working to find a renter for the property.
Jay-Z and Beyonce apparently are the answer.
The couple has paid $400,000 to rent the property, which is actually a discount compared to what direct marketing ace Cheryl Mercuris paid to stay at the property. Her two week stay at the property had a half million dollar price tag.
The three year-old home features a 60-foot heated pool with a stereo to pump the works of the music power couple and a basement complete with a skating rink, basketball court, spa and two bedroom apartment. Outside the 31,000 square foot home (on 11 acres) find a tennis court.
The estate also features an eight car garage.
