Poised atop a promontory in La Jolla, the “Ray” House is the product of designer Wallace Cunningham’s signature sleek mix of glass and curvaceous schematics.
Though it sits in a rectangular lot, the rounded residence fills up the swath almost entirely, radiating from the central, glass-encased courtyard surrounded by living and public spaces of the home, which overlook the ocean through 20-foot-high floor-to-ceiling windows.
The three-bedroom, four-bathroom abode also touts a cantilevered gas fireplace complete with a crushed-glass firebox floor.
The property is officially asking $6.2 million, though its listing notes that its owners are willing to dip as low as $5.5 million (though we truly believe they won’t have to).
