1.  If money was not a object, what is the most special property for sale in your market and Why?

Nick Damianos:  We currently have a property on the market called Winter’s Dream.  It is a stunning 8-acre beachfront estate located in the ultra-exclusive Lyford Cay development.  Lyford Cay is a gated country-club community with a membership roster that includes royalty, titans of industry, world-renowned entrepreneurs and artists.  Lyford Cay is the most exclusive community in the Bahamas and Winter’s Dream is one of the best properties in Lyford Cay.

2.  What is the hottest area in your market today?

Nick Damianos: Currently Lyford Cay and its sister community Old Fort Bay are out-performing the rest of our market.  They are both private, gated beachfront enclaves that are just a 15-minute drive to downtown Nassau.

3.  Do you have a iPhone, Android, or a Blackberry?

Nick Damianos: I use an iPhone.

4. What are your plans as a real estate agent in the next 10 years?

Nick Damianos: Our firm currently holds the largest market share in the Bahamas, and of course I would like to ensure that we continue to gain more.  We currently have 9 offices throughout the islands of the Bahamas, and I anticipate adding more as demand increases on some of other islands.

5. Who or what inspired you to get into the real-estate business?

Nick Damianos: I work in a family business that was started by my grandfather in 1945.  My father has spent more than 40 years in the real estate industry, so I have always been surrounded by real estate talk.  As a teenager, I worked summers in our head office and after returning from University in the U.S., I jumped right in to residential sales.  The majority of buyers that we work with are non-Bahamians, and I love being an ambassador of sorts to buyers moving to the Bahamas.  I can use my vast local knowledge and network contacts to ease them seamlessly into life in the Bahamas.  It’s a natural fit for me.
