Academy Award-nominated producer Megan Ellison just bought this curvy glass and concrete mansion in the Hollywood Hills for a steep $30M, but it may be worth it to claim the most unique home on the block.
The successful 27-year-old will now enjoy a home that was built for show host Alex Trebek and may have also belonged to the late Merv Griffin, though reports vary. We do know that it was owned by Eddy Aslanian, though it remains unclear whether he actually lived on the premises.
The most unusual thing about this transaction (well, besides the home itself) is that Ellison purchased the property for significantly more than the asking price.
Inside, the residence offers a formal living room, floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies and terraces, views of the Pacific Ocean, swimming pool and spa, volleyball court, six bedrooms, parking for 25 cars and more.
