The design world is buzzing about One CIFO Project - a showcase of works by nominees of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation's Grants & Commissions Program. The exhibit, unveiled last month by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, is on view at the luxury real estate company's Miami office located South of Fifth street. Design fans will love the exhibit, which features works from contemporary Latin American artists, including Regina Jose Galindo (Guatemala), Daniel Medina (Venezuela), Amilcar Packer (Brazil), Ricardo Rendon (Mexico), Gisela Motta & Leandro Lima (Brazil), and Luis Molina-Pantin (Venezuela).

Mayi de La Vega, the founder and owner of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, told us; "This third edition is better than ever. I have always had a passion and strong connection with art and as we approach the end of 2012, I feel that by bringing extraordinary art from Latin America, we encourage audiences to start their collections and support the artists.”

The best part? The works on view are available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the artists and CIFO’s Endowment Fund. The first two editions have sold over 20 works for a total of close to $40,000. CIFO founder Ella Fontanals-Cisneros added; “After three exhibits, we are hoping to close the year with a bang! Partnering with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty to help generate funds for the organization is extraordinary.”

The exhibit is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information please visit their website.
