50 Cents on the Dollar for 50 Cent’s Crib
By Allison Medoff

Rapper 50 Cent is singing he “got money” but his Farmington, CT, mansion isn’t helping in that department. Within two years, the price on his 50,000 square-foot estate has been slashed from $18.5 to $14.5 million. Taken off the market in May, the house was re-listed this past Thursday with a new asking price of $10.9 million. Even that is an optimistic number. Rob Giuffria with Prudential Premier Homes believes the residence won’t sell for more than $5 million in the quiet Connecticut suburb. The home resides on 17 acres of land and boasts 19 bedrooms, 37 bathrooms, a gym, disco dance room complete with stripper poles, billiard rooms and racquetball courts. 50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson, bought the property from Mike Tyson for $4.1 million and spent an estimated $10 million on renovations and additions. The reason for the move? The G-unit is a NYC man at heart and is tired of the long commute. “Yeah I live in CT, but I run New York.”
