Scotland Real Estate Aimed at Jet Setters
By Natasha Dorsainvil

There’s some clever marketing going on in Scotland. Estate agents for Ackergill Tower are attempting to unload the spacious seaside castle in Caithness by pointing out one of its less-than-obvious perks to potential buyers. They’re hoping that jet setters will count a six-hour hop to the U.S. as a hard-to-resist benefit of calling the 15th-century castle home.
While speedy private jet access to the U.S. is a notable selling point, the Knight Frank agents are also boasting the castle’s other benefits, which can be categorized as land, air, and sea.
Listed at £5 million, Ackergill’s site is described as “exclusive” and “pristine.” Plus, the stone tower, which seems to burst between the seam of the blue and green horizon, is situated just three miles away from nearby Wick Airport. Interested buyers who prefer flying by private jet are sure to enjoy the convenience.
As for the skies and waters surrounding the towering retreat, Knight Frank has stated that the location offers a view of the Aurora Borealis and possible sightings of killer whales along the nearby coast of Sinclair Bay.
If you frequent private jets, are looking for a one-of-a-kind retreat that offers a quick return to America’s east coast, and can’t get enough of nature, there are some Scottish real estate agents who would really love to meet you.
